On Monday 16 July our Holiday Bible Club began at 2:30 pm. This year we were so thankful to have had a team of 20 willing, young (and not so young !) leaders and helpers.

Before the HBC began many invitations were distributed and we were delighted to welcome many children over the three days.

After morning worship a preplanning meeting had been held and each of the team had volunteered to participate in the programme in different ways and did so during the three days with great effort and enthusiasm.

 

 

 

Very good fun was had by team and children during the Club with games, stories. drama, songs, quizzes, crafts and a bouncy castle.

After the Club each evening the team enjoyed a wholesome meal together, lovingly prepared by ladies of the Church family. Delicious desserts were created at the ice cream social and the s’mores at the barbeque were something else!

After dinner the team had helpful talks over two evenings with interaction and discussion on the topic of ‘How do I view my money from God’s perspective. ‘ HBC week 2018 was a highlight in the Church calendar.
