Amazing Treasures
To launch the Holiday Bible Club we all went on a picnic after the church service Sunday 16 July. It was a gloriously sunny day and a great time was enjoyed.
The theme of the Holiday Bible Club this year reminded us all of the amazing truths that can be found in God’s Word to us , the Bible, they are indeed treasures.
At the Club this year we heard stories from the Bible ,sang songs, did quizzes and played lots of games and sports. There were twenty cheerful and willing helpers and many children came to the club. For our craft we decorated wooden ….. Treasure Boxes and everyone got a goody bag going home.
In the evening the helpers had their own teaching on the proof of the Scriptures and why does God allow suffering.They also went bowling on the last night of Club.
